Add a Message to a Panel

The Add a Message to a Panel vocabulary template allows institutions to dynamically display messages in the Messages panel, based off the account in context in the based on criteria set within a Presentation rule.

To begin authoring that adds messages to a panel, navigate to System Management > Collections > Rules Management, and click to open Rules Manager. Create a new rule using the Presentation category and Person.Account entity.

When authoring the Then Statement, select the " Add a Message to a Panel" action template. Upon selecting this template, the following vocabulary populates in the Definition tab:

[type] - Allows rule authors to select the type of message from a drop-down list. This list includes the following message types:
- Bad
- Good
- Warning
- None
[message] - Free-form text field that allows rule authors to identify the message that appears to end users within the Messages panel.
